PRIOLITE strobes are designed to be power accurate, which means that we design our electronics to give you one more stop of light, when you dial up the power settings on your strobe by one stop. This may sound logical, but is often ignored and poorly executed by other manufacturers.

Power accuracy is nothing without consistency. Imagine what happens if the color temperature varies greatly between exposures, regardless of whether you have changed the power output, or simply took several images without any adjustment. At PRIOLITE, we believe that color accuracy is important, because nothing can be more annoying than having to adjust color temperature dramatically between shots.

Portability adds flexibility to how you shoot your next assignment, and where. All PRIOLITE MBX and M-PACK series strobes are powered by Litium-Ion batteries, good for up to 320 flashes at 500Ws (MBX1000/M-PACK1000). For extended use in studio environments, PRIOLITE strobes can be used while being charged, or in order to assist with the additional power demanded by the modeling light over an extended period of time.

Particularly on location, and if away from power outlets, efficiency matters. Therefore, the MBX500HS and the M-PACK PRIO heads utilize LED bulbs instead of halogen bulbs, allowing you to use the modeling light for longer periods, without draining the battery too quickly.

Power output is important, because the more power you have on each light, the more complex your setups can be, and the fewer number of total lights you will need. PRIOLITE strobes are therefore available with up to 1000Ws per head, giving you plenty of room to light even the most challenging setups.

PRIOLITE MBX and M-PACK HS-series strobes are optimized for HotSync capability on many Sony, Canon, Pentax, and Nikon cameras, allowing you to synchronize to flashlight at shutter speeds of up to 1/8000th of a second. This enables you to take product images of fast moving subjects like never before, and without the need to darken the environment first, if using flash duration as a workaround in place of faster shutter speeds.

A 2.4Ghz Remote Control is built into all PRIOLITE strobes, allowing you to remotely trigger and adjust power settings from up to 1000ft away, and on the push of a button. Gone are the days where you can only trigger your lights, but still needed to touch them individually, if you wanted to make adjustments to power or modeling lights.

Complex light setups can quickly turn into nightmares, if lights are unmanaged. The PRIOLITE remote allows you to trigger and adjust up to 9 lights in up to 4 groups – individually or together. With PRIOLITE, complex lighting setups are easy to adjust, control, and trigger.

We always design our lights with compatibility in mind, thus providing the most complete support of any light system manufacturer for a variety of  camera makes and models. For example, today you may be shooting on a CANON 5DMKII, but tomorrow you may want to add a PENTAX 645Z. Often all you need is an additional remote control to make your PIOLITE strobes work with another manufacturer.
